AliRx is another product that was brought to me by the Franchise123 team. AliRx combines food sensitivity testing with customized meal plans, helping its members reach optimal health with a new and innovative approach to nutrition.
Create a user-friendly SaaS product for the B2C marketplace that also include admin and management capabilities for nutritionists and health professionals.
When I assumed responsibility for the AliRx project, it was still in its infancy stage, with only an idea and a product vision in place. My role encompassed not only bringing this project to fruition from the ground up but also familiarizing myself with the various documents that had been created to date, organizing them, and leading all development efforts with a Pakistan-based team, with whom I had no prior experience.
To streamline the scattered information, I leveraged Google Drive to consolidate all the documentation in one place. Once I had everything as organized as possible, I dedicated a week to reviewing the material to get up to speed. Subsequently, I embarked on researching various competitive or similar products and their features, meticulously analyzing their user experiences and documenting the pros and cons of each UX. This phase also consisted of an in-depth UX audit of the already existing AliRx website. This initial phase was pivotal in laying the foundation for the subsequent design and development efforts. Upon gaining a solid understanding of the product vision, I commenced the design process.
When I commenced the design process for AliRx, my initial step was to create high-fidelity UX designs for the AliRx team to review and validate in alignment with their vision. The primary challenge I encountered during the design process was the team's emphasis on speed, which posed a potential obstacle to conducting thorough user testing of design concepts and flows, crucial for achieving product-market fit and acceptance. Despite this, I continued on, utilizing their team as a testing and validation channel.
To streamline the design process, I began by creating a page title on the left navigation bar inside my Figma design file for each of the 30 identified pages. Subsequently, I designed the pricing page to gain a better understanding of the pricing model, which ultimately drove the logic for the overall experience in-front of, and behind the paywall. I then proceeded with the creative process of designing each defined page and all of their user flows for each section and components, laying the groundwork for the subsequent development efforts.
throughout the design phase, I engaged with the Pakistan-based development team, sprint planning and leading the development efforts. However, during this stage, the AliRx team made the challenging decision to halt any new development efforts until further notice. As a result, the project is currently on pause, with no anticipated timeline for resumption. More Images of the project can be seen below.
